Six-year old Morgan F. is the quintessential wish kid with an indomitable spirit. She was originally nominated as a Western Wish recipient by the late PRCA World Champion Bull Rider Lane Frost’s parents, Clyde and Elsie Frost. Born and raised in Atoka, Oklahoma, Morgan continues to struggle with the debilitating disease of Cystic Fibrosis. Thanks a church in Atoka, donations were sent to Western Wishes on behalf of the congregation, so that Western Wishes could purchase a horse for Morgan, which was found by Lane Frost’s sister, Robin, also a Western Wishes donor. Morgan’s happiest times are when she is riding her new paint horse, Jasmine. She now competes in local gymkhana events.

Western Wishes sent Morgan and her family to the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo for a special surprise. In front of a crowd of 10,000 Morgan was presented with a new saddle from the Alamo Saddle Company. President and CEO of Alamo, Leisha Ashley, was there to present it to her. Morgan was interviewed on the jumbo screen and was at a loss for words.

Prior to the rodeo performance, Western Wishes took Morgan on an extensive shopping spree. Thanks to vendors like Cavenders and D&D Farm and Ranch, Morgan went home with a trunk full of gifts. She also got to meet Miss Rodeo Minnesota and Miss Rodeo Oklahoma, who co-hosted the wish.

Morgan then attended country music artist Jason Aldean’s concert with a very special meet and greet after the great San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo performance. Western Wishes would like to extend a heart-felt “Thanks” to all the great hearts that made this little girl’s dreams come true!
Shopping spree!
Morgan has been such a trooper….even throughout breathing treatments and hospital stays which can last up to three weeks at a time. Our hearts go out to Morgan’s mother, Amy, who tirelessly tends to her every need.
