Emily Crews, 17, had more than just her wish come true in December. Western Wishes would like to thank NCHA, Clint Allen, and David and Stacie McDavid for making this such a special wish granted. NCHA Hall of Fame Champion Clint Allen mentored Emily for 8 weeks to perform at the World Championship Cutting Horse Futurity (where he also had 8 horses to show himself). After Emily’s story went around the world, doctors at MD Anderson agreed they could operate to remove half the tumors! Many special thanks to MD Anderson Board Member Stacie McDavid for offering to help.

Recently Donnalyn Quintana, Western Wishes Founder, spent a wonderful night at a Ft Worth Business Press dinner, honoring Western Wishes heroes Clint Allen and Emily Crews. Donnalyn Quintana accepted the coveted award for Emily, who has the quintessential Western Wishes fighting spirit!

Never in the 20 year history of Western Wishes has anyone given of himself to that degree. God Bless Clint Allen! Many prayers are going out to Emily and her family for her Feb 4th brain surgery. – Donnalyn
