Wipe Every Tear

wipe every tear

Wipe Every Tear is a group of everyday people dedicated to breaking the chains of sex trafficking and poverty. But we’re about so much more than that. When you set someone free, there’s always residual pain, and that pain causes tears. It’s our mission to wipe them away by helping people grow and thrive after we’ve removed them from a bad situation. That’s why we built the Hope House.

Kenny Sacht, our founder, began praying in 2007 for God to break his heart for injustices in this world that also broke God’s heart. Then God took Kenny to the Philippines. A little after this Kenny began to learn about sex trafficking, and as he learned more about it he felt his focus moving toward the Philippines.

Kenny learned that sex trafficking is alive and active in the Philippines. He thought, “I’ve been there. Surely trafficking isn’t happening there.”

So he took another trip — and this time he saw it.

Kenny dedicated his life to serving the Philippines, to breaking the chains of sex trafficking and wiping the tears of those girls. Wipe Every Tear was born.

Since then WET has grown, developed a Safe House house for girls who have been saved rescued from a life of prostitution  and we have organized many mission trips to the Philippines. To find out more about Wipe Every Tear, visit their website: http://www.wipeeverytear.org
